Wildfire Threat Near Dunmore Eases Up: Evacuations Lifted!

Good news out of Cypress County! A wildfire that had folks packing their bags east of Dunmore is no longer a threat. As of September 21, 2025, the blaze south of Highway 1 along Range Road 40 no longer requires evacuations, giving residents a big sigh of relief. Given how quickly situations like these can change, staying informed is crucial—especially in areas prone to wildfires.
