Theatre Calgary Unveils Exciting Creative Learning Season for 2025/26
Theatre Calgary is set to launch its 2025/26 Creative Learning season, presenting a diverse array of drama camps designed to inspire young artists across the city. The programming offers engaging opportunities for children and youth to explore the performing arts during school breaks and throughout the summer.
Highlights include Musical Theatre PD Days on November 28, 2025, and February 27, 2026, providing creative outlets for Calgary students during non-instructional school days. A Spring Break Drama Camp will run from March 23-27, 2026. Summer sessions, commencing July 13, will feature Theatre Games and Acting Intensives, culminating in a final performance that allows participants to showcase their talents.
These programs offer significant benefits, helping children build self-confidence, improve communication skills, and foster social-emotional development, which are highly valued in Calgary's youth arts initiatives. Providing accessible and engaging activities during school breaks like PD days and spring break is a key focus for local families. Registration for all programs opens on November 24, 2025, with Early Bird discounts available. For additional details, Jennie Esdale can be contacted at jesdale@theatrecalgary.com.
Theatre Calgary's ongoing commitment to youth programming continues to enrich Calgary's vibrant arts landscape, offering essential pathways for the next generation of performers and creative thinkers.
