Teneo Strengthens Calgary Footprint with Strategic Appointments

Teneo, a global CEO advisory firm, has significantly bolstered its Canadian operations with the strategic appointment of Martha Hall Findlay and Simon Kennedy as Senior Advisors. Announced on November 10, 2025, these additions are set to enhance Teneo’s presence in Calgary and Ottawa, deepening its expertise in energy, policy, and foreign investment advisory.

Martha Hall Findlay, a highly regarded figure in Canadian business, will spearhead Teneo’s growth initiatives in Western Canada. Her background as the former Chief Sustainability Officer at Calgary-based Suncor Energy and her tenure as President and CEO of the Canada West Foundation, a Calgary-headquartered think tank, directly align with the city’s ongoing focus on energy transition and economic diversification. This expertise is particularly relevant as Calgary continues to cultivate its clean energy and technology sectors while maintaining its role as an energy hub.

Joining her is Simon Kennedy, who brings over three decades of public service experience, including distinguished roles as Deputy Minister of Health and Canada's G20 Sherpa. Kennedy will guide Teneo's government affairs and foreign investment strategies, an area of growing importance as Calgary actively seeks to attract international capital and talent across a diverse range of industries.

James Crossland, Teneo’s Global Vice Chairman, emphasized that their combined leadership will be invaluable in navigating Canada's complex regulatory landscapes. This expansion highlights Teneo’s commitment to providing Calgary’s key sectors with strategic insights from seasoned professionals, supporting the city’s dynamic economic evolution.
