Justice Rides in Downtown Calgary: Charges Upgraded in Fatal Stabbing Case
Hold onto your hats, Calgary! The charges against Neil Henderson and Donovan Cameron Collins have been upgraded to second-degree murder for the downtown fatal stabbing of Gurdeep Singh Mundi back on July 24, 2025. The attack, which took place around 8:40 p.m. on Dermont Baldwin Way S.E., saw Mounted Patrol Team members spring into action, leading to the suspects' immediate arrest. Initially charged with aggravated assault, their court appearance on October 1, 2025, resulted in charges being ramped up. They'll be back in court on October 22, 2025. Homicide Unit Staff Sgt. Mark Rahn said, “The pursuit of justice does not stop when suspects are taken into custody... we are able to present solid evidence to the court.” Keep following the story, Calgary.
