Rev Engineering Expands in Calgary to Address Infrastructure Demand

Rev Engineering has consolidated its North American operations in Calgary, establishing a new 90,000-square-foot facility. This strategic move aims to meet the escalating demand for data center and critical power systems across the continent, complementing the company’s existing 35,000-square-foot operation in Arlington, Texas. By centralizing design, fabrication, and maintenance, Rev Engineering expects to cut project timelines by up to 30 percent.

The company's strategy addresses a key industry challenge: fragmentation. "We're solving the industry's biggest pain point, fragmentation," stated Shawn Oldenburger, Principal and CEO of Rev Engineering. This integrated approach allows for comprehensive in-house services.

The Calgary location is set to significantly bolster support for Canadian projects, particularly in high-growth sectors such as oil and gas, mining, and utilities. This expansion is timely, given Calgary’s rapid emergence as a leading hub for technology and data centers, boasting a rapidly growing tech workforce and substantial investment in digital infrastructure. Alberta and Calgary are actively attracting major data center investments, fueled by factors like available land, competitive energy prices, and a skilled workforce.

This move positions Rev Engineering to capitalize on and contribute to Calgary's evolving economic landscape, supporting critical infrastructure demands across the region.
