Big Rock Brewery Reports 36% Surge in Q3 Sales Volumes
Big Rock Brewery Inc. has reported a significant surge in its third-quarter 2025 sales volumes, marking a 36% increase over the period. The Calgary-based brewer also saw a robust 42% growth over the past 12 months, with total sales reaching 89,572 hectolitres.
This impressive performance was largely fueled by a 67.3% jump in contract sales and a 17.4% boost in wholesale volumes. Financially, net revenue climbed 27.4% to $16.3 million compared to the same quarter in 2024. The company's gross margin also expanded to $4.8 million, while operating income moved into positive territory at $0.2 million, a welcome recovery from a previous loss.
CEO David Kinder credits these gains to strategic initiatives and a successful branding refresh. Big Rock’s commitment to its roots was recently underscored by its Barn Burner event at the Calgary brewery, which highlighted strong community engagement and a vibrant local presence.
These results are particularly noteworthy as Big Rock continues to outpace broader industry trends, reinforcing its upward trajectory within the competitive craft beer landscape. Calgarians can find additional details and financial data on the company's website and SEDAR+.
